This vintage Novum Deluxe Mark IV sewing machine has been stored in a loft for the past 30 years and has a noticeable musty smell. It comes in its original heavy-duty box, which has been thoroughly cleaned but remains stained. The box handle is intact but has rusted fixings, and both closing clasps are rusty but functional, keeping the machine securely stored.

Condition:

• Used, untested, and sold as seen – see pictures for details.
• Wooden housing shows marks and scratches, particularly on the front, in line with its vintage nature.
• Pale blue body with dark grey trim on top.
• Some residual black marks around the belt section, despite cleaning.
• Shiny stainless steel parts with minimal cosmetic wear.
• Machine powers on, and the rubber belt turns.
• Rubber end of the cable is coming away from the adapter.
• Pressing the pedal did not move the needle, and we are unsure how to make it function properly.
• Flap on the left-hand side (for resting fabric) is intact and opens/closes smoothly.
• Knobs and switches are present, but we cannot guarantee full functionality.
